"We Believe ...
In One God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth...
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, ...
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, ..."

So reads the key elements of the historic Nicene Creed. It is to this Creed and also the creed known as the "Apostle's or Baptismal" Creed, that we ascribe our basic theological beliefs about the being and nature of God, of His Son, Jesus (of Nazareth) the Christ, and the ongoing empowerment of the Church and all believers in Christ, the Holy Spirit of God.

As believers in Jesus, we find our Foundation in the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, and wisdom of the intercontinental period of history through the books known as The Apocrypha. As we are a Creedal Church, we are also a Consillior Church, drawing our faith and practice from the mind of the Church expressed through the great, historic Councils of the Church.  We also ascribe to the Sacramental and Liturgical tradition of the historic Church as the means of God's continued nurture of his people and communication of His will to us.

All persons who are Baptized with water, in the name of the Holy Trinity, are welcome to receive Holy Communion during the Eucharist.  Those who wish only a blessing may approach the altar rail and stand or kneel with their arms crossed over their chests.  The Priest will then give them a blessing.  Those who have difficulty receiving the wine due to the malady of Alcoholism, are invited to receive only the bread.  We believe that a full communion is made with Christ when either or both elements of communion are received.

Introductory Classes preparing families or individuals for Baptism or Confirmation are available, as are Newcomer classes to orient you to The Episcopal Church and St. Paul's.  Please contact Father Larry if you are interested in any of these.
